Thoughts on friction, LinkedIn, and photography

Absolutely agree with you on friction - that is why getting people to comply with complicated laws and even more complicated compliance systems and processes to ensure compliance with those compliance laws. Lately, I am a big believer in reducing everything and sometimes starting over - because friction is a barrier. And similarly, society at large, the frustrations that boil over is because the cost of friction is so high that just surviving day to day means that people have no space to dream.
The difference between us and machines - each machine part was created for a specific purpose, and it usually cannot be used for any other purpose. We may have been put on this plane for a purpose, but we can also be used for other purposes, if we only move past our fears and insecurities to see and to act upon it. Happy Holidays and Merry Christmas!
Loved that quote at the beginning. Splendid work as always, Cullin.
